North Cottage Cromer – the perfect holiday cottage for 12 guests
North Cottage Cromer is the perfect Norfolk holiday home for 12 guests It offers a fabulous location for exploring all the delights of North Norfolk. There are 6 spacious bedrooms, including one ground floor king size bedroom and 4 elegant reception rooms. The cottage also offers large, lush gardens and secure off-road parking.

Garden Room
The Garden Room is one of the most popular features of the house. This fabulous 70 square metre space has plenty of room for all guests to relax together in total comfort. Bi-fold doors open onto the gardens where there’s even more space for games and relaxing. The Garden Room features as 55 inch smart Sony TV, professional table football and many traditional indoor and garden games.
Dining Room
The Dining Room has a large oval table with seating for all 12 guests. Ample china, cutlery, glassware and servers are provided making North Cottage Cromer the perfect seaside holiday cottage to celebrate with family, friends and large group stays.
Kitchen
The Kitchen adjoins the Dining Room. It’s very well equipped for all kinds of self-catering cooking and baking. This is a home from home so you should find everything you need to cook here. It’s equipped with quality appliances including AEG 71 litre multi-function oven, AEG 4 ring induction hob, NEFF dishwasher, Panasonic microwave and large Liebherr fridge freezer. (Note the AGA shown is currently only available on request).
Conservatory
The large Conservatory contains lush exotic plants. There’s a dining table for up to 10 – ideal for eating and drinking during balmy summer evenings. This is also the perfect space for coffee or cocktails with comfy corner seating.
The Conservatory links the Garden Room to the Kitchen.
Living Room
The Living Room is a wonderful comfortable and relaxing space. It’s tastefully furnished with quality sofas you can sink into and a wood burner (we supply a starter pack of logs). There’s a 50″ Sony Smart TV. This quiet space with garden views offers a tranquil hideaway for grown-ups – an alternative to the fun and games of the Garden Room. You could even work from home – using our excellent Wi-Fi whole home mesh network.
The Bedrooms
We offer 6 spacious bedrooms at North Cottage Cromer including a king size bedroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there are 2 further king size bedrooms, a double and 2 twin bedrooms.
Master Bedroom

The master bedroom wows with views across the park to the sea and a chaise lounge conveniently placed to enjoy them. At 27m2 this is a sizeable and luxurious room, furnished with mahogany bed frame, full-length mirror and dressing table. There’s a hairdryer and we can provide a travel cot.

Through the curtained archway is a spacious en-suite with large rainfall shower and a separate bath, pedestal hand basin and toilet.
Midnight Blue Bedroom
King size bed
This calm and elegant colour scheme sets the tone for an inviting king size bedroom with views across the garden. There’s a comfy pocket sprung mattress, a double mahogany wardrobe, tallboy, bedside reading lamps and a wing back chair to relax. A hairdryer is provided in each of the king size bedrooms.
Ground Floor
Green Bedroom
King size bed
The Green king size bedroom is located on the ground floor. This is the perfect bedroom for guests who prefer no stairs. It’s furnished with a pocket sprung mattress, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers, a comfy Duresta sofa , 32″ TV and a collection of local books. There’s a wet room along the hallway with a step free shower.
Wet Room
The wet room has a roll in, step free shower with detachable hand held attachment and a single grab rail. There’s a standard height toilet and a hand basin on top of a fixed vanity unit. The wet room is on the ground floor, for easy access from the ground floor bedroom along the hallway.
Red Bedroom
Double bed
This cosy and colourful bedroom has a traditional cast iron style double bed, a triple wardrobe with shelves and hanging space and bedside cabinets with reading lamps. This is a great room to relax and enjoy the sea view visible across the park.
Silver Bedroom
Twin single beds
The bright and spacious Silver twin bedroom has great views across the boating pond towards the sea. There are two 3’0” beds with pocket sprung mattresses, a large wardrobe with shelves and drawers, a tallboy and comfy chair. Beds can be made with either double or single duvets on request.
Sky Blue Bedroom

This bright and light bedroom evokes the blue skies of the seaside, there’s even a visible shimmer of sea shining through the trees. The room is furnished with two 3’0” beds, a large wardrobe with drawers and a comfy chair. Beds can be made with either double or single duvets on request.
First Floor
Shower Room
The first floor has a bright and airy family shower room with rain shower, pedestal hand basin, and shaver point. Shampoo, shower gel and liquid hand soap are all supplied. Towels are provided.
The Gardens
North Cottage Cromer is surrounded by extensive walled gardens. The lush lawn flows from the terrace and is perfect for afternoon tea and garden games including badminton, boules and croquet – games equipment is provided.
Courtyard Garden
The rear courtyard garden, outside the conservatory, is filled with exotic potted plants and palms. There’s a table and chairs for guests to relax and plan the day ahead.
Exotic Garden
For quiet and tranquility head for our lush and secluded ‘secret garden’. Semi-walled with exotic planting, it enjoys a sunny and sheltered spot away from it all – the perfect space to enjoy a book.
Herb Garden
Opposite The Garden Room, close to the kitchen is the herb garden with Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Sage, Mint, Bay and Chives for all guests to use and enjoy.
Other facilities
Cloakroom
& Utility
The large ground floor utility room doubles as a cloakroom. It also has a drinks fridge. There’s plenty of storage for coats and bags.
It’s equipped with a high quality Miele washer & dryer, ironing board, other laundry equipment and cleaning supplies.
High speed broadband and Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi router is located in the cloakroom / utility.
The broadband is high speed fibre.
It can stream multiple video devices.
The house has a mesh ‘whole-home’ network to increase Wi-Fi coverage through the large house.
Parking
North Cottage Cromer has private parking for 4 / 5 cars on the large gravel driveway. There’s an electrically operated parking gate for security. There are 2 parking spaces beside the house and space for 2/3 more cars in front of the house.
There’s also covered space under the wood store suitable for storing bicycles.
Additional facilities for children
We can provide two high chairs, a travel cot, stair gates and a fire-guard for the wood burning stove. The kitchen has a supply of children’s plates, cups, cutlery and a wipeable tablecloth.
Please request these items before you arrive.
You’ll also find some children’s books and toys in the Garden Room and a small library in the Cloakroom.
Just Outside the house
North Lodge Park
North Cottage Cromer is located within North Lodge Park. The boating pond is just outside the house gates. Two minutes walk through the park is a children’s play area with swings, slide, and small climbing wall. There are plenty of benches for parents to wait while the kids burn off some energy.
Is North Cottage Cromer close to the beach?
Yes! You bet. North Cottage Cromer offers access to the beach directly through the park.
The park also offers step free access to the promenade and Pier via the public lift at the Rocket House RNLI Museum.
There are very occasionally events and performances held in the park to raise funds for the gardens.
Recent performances have included concerts, open-air theatre, and children’s crafting events.
Christmas at North Cottage Cromer
North Cottage Cromer is very festive at Christmas. The house is decorated with a sparkly tree and lights during the December and New Year holiday season.
Just add some crackers, fizz and cook up a feast.
We can’t guarantee snow – in fact it’s rare at the seaside. There is a lovely warm AGA to roast the Christmas dinner and the log burner to relax beside after a healthy beach walk.
For the adventurous why not join in with Cromer’s famous Boxing Day Dip?
On New Year’s Day there is a spectacular free firework display over Cromer Pier which attracts thousands of visitors. This is a highlight of the holidays. You won’t have far to go, it’s right outside North Cottage Cromer!
