Our guests tell us Norfolk works well as a “halfway” meeting place because it’s a similar travelling time from the North, South and Midlands. You can even get the train to Cromer station (via Norwich) with Greater Anglia, or fly into Stansted and connect by train.

Renting a whole house for the weekend to celebrate together offers a lot of advantages over booking a hotel stay for the family. This large detached house has 6 bedrooms sleeping 12 guests. One of the king size bedrooms is on the ground floor – ideal for guests who find stairs a challenge. Upstairs are 5 further spacious bedrooms, 2 king bedrooms, a double and 2 twin bedrooms. All the bedrooms are comfortably furnished with quality beds and 100% white cotton linens.
Lavish Rooms for Your Guests’ Exclusive Use
The Dining Room has ample room for all 12 guests and the Garden Room seats all 12 guests together in total comfort. Not many holiday cottages offer quality sofas and chairs for all guests in the same room. But we don’t stop at the Garden Room, there’s also a comfortable living room with more sofas for seven guests and a beautiful Conservatory with a dining table for 8 or 10 and relaxed seating for coffee or cocktails.
Beautiful Gardens for your Private Pleasure
North Cottage Cromer has a large secure walled garden wrapping around the whole house with lawns, terraces and many different spaces where you can sit and enjoy the exotic plants. We even provide badminton and croquet if you fancy a family tournament on our large lawn!
There’s parking for 4 or 5 cars (depending on size, 4 large SUVs or 5 standard vehicles) on the secure gated, gravel drive. In fact most of our guests park their cars and leave them on the driveway for the entire stay. There really is no need to drive anywhere if you don’t want, as the shops, restaurants, beaches and attractions of Cromer are only moments walk away.
Cook-Up a Feast or Dine-Out on your Doorstep
We can suggest local restuarants based on your preferences and diet requirements. There are plenty of options from The Red Lion to The Grove and the award winning upstairs at No.1 – all within 5 minutes walk. Further afield is the legendary and award winning Gunton Arms, one of our favourites.
Fancy dining in? No problem. If you choose to dine in the kitchen is fully equipped for all kinds of cooking and we provide all the china, glassware and cutlery you need to cater for 12 guests. We can even provide high chairs for the youngest family members.
Or why not hire your own chef? We can provide recommendations – but early booking is advisable as the best chefs get booked up months in advance, especially at weekends.
Weekends Don’t Stop at Sunday
Stay Friday and Saturday night and why not add Sunday night at a special low rate? If you take advantage of this offer you can check out anytime Sunday or right up until 10am Monday. We offer celebration weekends throughout the year with the exception of school holidays when a 7 night stay is required.
